Kanisha Ward & Ashley Jones
Owner & Director Of Basketball Operations (DOBO)
Kanisha 'Nuk' Ward and Ashley 'AJ' Jones have been playing together for over 20 years on various AAU teams, summer league teams, semi & professional teams. This dynamic duo's ultimate goal is to retire on beach after hosting successful opportunities for women's basketball players.
Kasandra Ward
President
Kasandra, also known as Ma Nuk, is the mother of Kiwan Ward (Associate Head Coach) and Kanisha Ward. Ma Nuk is the glue for this entire organization. She's always working to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Nicole Blocker
Head Coach
Coach Block has been in this field for over 20 years. She began her professional development coaching career in the early 2000s with the Detroit Dolphins, then continued coaching under the Dolphins' new name, Detroit Blackhawks. The Blackhawks season ended in 2014 which caused Coach Block to be on a 3 year drought, until the Detroit Dodgers was birthed in 2017. Coach Block is passionate about the women's game of basketball and she shows it everything she coaches these young ladies.
Coach Kiwan 'Kay' Ward
Associate Head Coach/General Manager
As the Associate Head Coach, Coach Kay is critically involved in all aspects of the program and shares responsibilities with the Head Coach, Coach Blocker. Coach Kay has plenty of experience coaching basketball and is ready to coach these young women to greatness.
